What happens during the on-site survey?

Once you've reserved your boiler, our engineer will call you within a few hours to arrange a site survey before installation. The survey makes sure all the parts and tools we'll need are ready for the day, and confirms that the boiler you've chosen is the right fit for your property — because we want you to be 100% happy with your new boiler.

Our customer service team will keep you informed throughout and are happy to answer any questions you have.

What happens during installation?

A top-of-the-range boiler deserves great workmanship. Yours will be installed by a Gas Safe registered engineer on a date to suit you. They'll aim to arrive in the morning between 8am and 10am, and your boiler will be delivered at the same time or shortly after.

They'll carry out a pre-install heating system flush, remove your old boiler, install your new one, and add a magnetic filter to protect against debris along with a corrosion inhibitor to help your system last longer. Once everything is safe and running smoothly, they'll take the old materials away and recycle them where possible.

How does CORGI HomeHeat work?

We're trying to do things a little differently. We believe that buying a boiler should be a simple, transparent process that lets you compare prices and features and make a choice that meets your needs. We buy direct from the manufacturer and cut out the middlemen to ensure you get the best price.

We'll provide an initial quote — this may change subject to the engineer's survey.

Payment

If paying by debit or credit card, you can reserve your boiler with a £99 deposit. You'll then need to pay a minimum of 50% of the quote before we order materials and begin the installation. The remaining balance is due when installation is complete. All pre-installation payments are refundable in full if you decide to cancel before delivery. Alternatively, you can spread the cost over 24 to 120 months with no deposit through Propensio Finance Ltd (subject to application, financial circumstances and borrowing history).

Installed

Can I pay in instalments?

Yes — Propensio Finance Ltd provide options to spread the cost. Currently they offer plans at fixed terms from 24 to 120 months at 12.9% APR (subject to application, financial circumstances and borrowing history).

Representative example: If you borrow £2,599 over 120 months at a fixed rate of 12.9% per annum, your monthly repayments will be £38.65 and the total amount repayable will be £4,638.00. Total charge for credit £2,039.00. 12.9% Representative APR. Finance subject to status. The approval of your application depends on your financial circumstances and borrowing history. What happens after I place my order?

Step 1

Our engineer will call you in the next few hours to arrange a site survey before installation, to make sure all necessary parts and tools are available for the day. We'll also make sure the boiler you've chosen is appropriate for your property, as we want you to be 100% happy with your new boiler. Our customer service team will keep you informed and are happy to answer any questions you have.

Step 2

Your engineer will aim to arrive in the morning between 8am and 10am on the day of your installation, and your boiler will be delivered at the same time or shortly after.

Step 3

Your engineer will carry out a pre-install heating system flush, remove your old boiler, install your new boiler, then make sure everything is safe and sound and running smoothly.

Do I need to do anything before my engineer arrives?

Clearing a bit of space around your boiler is really helpful, as this allows our engineer to start working right away.

How do I keep my warranty valid?

Make sure you have your boiler serviced at least once a year to keep your warranty valid.

How do I contact you to resolve an issue or complaint?

CORGI HomeHeat is committed to providing great customer service, but unfortunately there may be times when things go wrong.

If the matter is not resolved, please contact our Customer Relations team who will acknowledge your complaint promptly, thoroughly investigate the issues, and keep you regularly informed. We aim to resolve your complaint as soon as possible and issue a final response letter within 8 weeks of the date your complaint was received.
